Draft before user testing

Clear agreements for the pilot.

These rules describe the intended test. They are not final user terms and require legal and operational review before the pilot.

Version: 22 July 2026

Status: draft

Pilot access: joining the waitlist creates no right to participate, availability or an app download.

Purpose of the test

The pilot examines whether residents can safely pass refundable containers to local collectors. It may remain small, change, pause or not proceed.

The handoff and compensation

  • Offerers list only deposit-bearing containers and estimate quantities honestly.
  • Collectors keep the deposit after the handoff.
  • FlesVriend is free and charges no platform fees.
  • Offerers may list for free, set an asking price or accept a collector's offer.
  • Participants arrange payment themselves, for example in cash or by payment request. FlesVriend does not process, hold or confirm it.
  • No one must enter a home or continue an unsafe meetup.

Behaviour and safety

Participants treat each other respectfully, arrive or cancel on time, do not share other people's details, and report threats, discrimination, fraud or unsafe behaviour. Final age limits, identity checks, insurance and incident procedures must be set before testing.

No guarantee of value

A photo or estimate does not guarantee that a return point accepts every item. Damaged containers, missing labels and unreadable barcodes may be rejected.

Still to be defined

Before launch, add the responsible organisation, contact route, complaints process, liability framework, moderation policy, age policy and governing law. Have these terms reviewed by a Dutch lawyer.
