Pilot in preparation · Delft

Done with the return machine?

Someone nearby collects your bottles and cans. You clear the clutter; the collector keeps the deposit.

  • Free during the pilot
  • You choose when and where

One neighbourhood, two sides

What would you like to do?

Your role is not permanent. Pass deposits on today and collect them yourself another time.

For residents and venues

I have deposits

No heavy bags, less clutter at home and you decide when someone can collect.

  • Add a photo and estimated amount
  • Choose a convenient collection time
  • Share the exact place only after matching

For collectors

I want to collect

Find useful stops on your route and keep the deposit after the handoff.

  • See quantities and distance in advance
  • Choose only collections that suit you
  • Confirm the handoff together

From bag to return point

Three steps. No fuss.

  1. Step 1

    Get it ready

Add a photo, estimate the amount and say when collection works for you.

  2. Step 2

    Make a plan

A collector responds. Together you choose a time and a safe handoff place.

  3. Step 3

    Pass it on

After the confirmed handoff, the collector takes everything and keeps the deposit.

Neighbourly contact without surprises

Safe meetups are part of the foundation.

StatieDelen connects strangers. Trust must come before speed, even in a small pilot.

  • 01
    Address only after a match

The area is visible first; the exact handoff place is not.

  • 02
    You choose the place

Use a doorway, shared entrance or public place where you feel comfortable.

  • 03
    Always cancel and report

Something feels wrong or someone does not show? End the arrangement and tell us.

Start small, learn properly

Why begin in Delft?

A compact cycling area, many single-person households and students, and enough different neighbourhoods to learn quickly.

The pilot starts only when both sides have enough participants. Rotterdam is a possible next city.

Good to know

Questions before joining.

Is StatieDelen available now?

Not yet. It is a concept in preparation. The waitlist will help us form a small, balanced test group in Delft.

Does it cost anything?

No. The first pilot is free. The offerer does not charge a fee and the collector keeps the deposit after the handoff.

Which containers can I offer?

Only containers with a deposit logo. Keep the barcode readable and cans and bottles as close to their original shape as possible.

Does someone need to enter my home?

No. Choose a place that feels right for you, such as your doorstep, a shared entrance or a public location.

When will Rotterdam be included?

There is no date yet. We will first measure whether Delft produces enough reliable matches and repeat use.

Can I both offer and collect?

Yes. Choose what you want to do each time. Your registration preference only helps us balance the initial test group.
